Meet Grace and Nate !  

Grace and Nate received a My Friend Abby Peer Project Grant to create meaningful friendships and lasting connections this summer for peers with disabilities and special needs.

Their first event brought the group to a local park, where participants painted kindness rocks with uplifting messages and placed them throughout the park to spread a little kindness.

For their second event, the group visited Sensory Play Center, where everyone had the opportunity to explore, play games, and enjoy a fun, welcoming environment together while building new friendships.

Each event has encouraged teamwork, inclusion, friendship, and opportunities to connect in meaningful ways. We love seeing these peer-led experiences create spaces where everyone feels welcome and valued!
